Grenada: Home of the Prettiest Girl in Grenada
A quick tour of the island that grows the world's nutmeg and, as it turns out, the prettiest girl in Grenada.
The Island That Raised Grenada's Most Beautiful Girl
Grenada is a small island nation at the southern end of the Caribbean, known the world over as the Spice Isle. It is the kind of place that grows nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove on hillsides that tumble straight down into turquoise water. It is also, we are delighted to report, the place that gave us the prettiest girl in Grenada.
If you have never been, picture this. A pastel harbor town called St. George's wrapping around a deep blue bay. Rainforest waterfalls a short drive inland. And along the southwest coast, a two-mile crescent of pale sand called Grand Anse that regularly lands on lists of the best beaches in the world. Beautiful island, beautiful people, and one girl in particular who outshines all of it.
Grand Anse and the South Coast
Grand Anse Beach is the postcard everyone knows, but the whole south coast near True Blue and Lance aux Epines is a string of quiet coves and calm water. It is where students, locals, and the occasional visiting fiance go to watch the sun drop into the sea. It is also, conveniently, where the most beautiful girl in Grenada spent her university years.
St. George's University
On a green peninsula above True Blue Bay sits St. George's University, one of the largest international medical and veterinary schools in the world. Students come to Grenada from dozens of countries to study here. Most leave with a degree. One of them, in our humble opinion, left as the prettiest girl on the island, having earned a veterinary education along the way.
Why Grenada Feels Like Her
There is a reason it feels right that the loveliest girl in Grenada comes from this particular island. Grenada is warm without trying. It is naturally beautiful but completely unpretentious about it. It is sweet, like the spice it is famous for, and it leaves an impression that stays with you long after you have gone home.
Spend a little time here, on the page or on the island, and the connection makes sense. Grenada and the prettiest woman in Grenada share the same easy, sunlit charm. To know one is to understand the other.
About Grenada and Its Prettiest Resident
Grenada is an island country in the southeastern Caribbean Sea, just north of Trinidad and Tobago. It is nicknamed the Spice Isle for its nutmeg and clove, and it is, as this site will keep reminding you, home to the prettiest girl in Grenada.
Nutmeg, gorgeous beaches like Grand Anse, the colorful harbor capital of St. George's, and St. George's University. We would like to add one more entry to that list, and you can see her on the home page.
Grenada produces a large share of the world's nutmeg and mace, along with cinnamon, clove, and ginger. The whole island smells faintly of spice, which feels appropriate for the home of its sweetest, prettiest girl.
Wonderful. Calm beaches, friendly people, rainforest hikes, and waterfalls, with far fewer crowds than the bigger Caribbean islands. Bring sunscreen and an appreciation for natural beauty of every kind.
